Professor Dr. M. M. Shahin-Ul-Islam is a distinguished gastroenterologist with specialised expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. With more than two decades of experience in patient care, medical education and institutional leadership, he has made significant contributions to the development of specialist digestive healthcare in Faridpur.
After joining Faridpur Medical College in 2010, he established the Department of Gastroenterology and played a key role in developing specialised outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services. He currently serves as Professor of Gastroenterology at Faridpur Medical College.

His clinical experience includes advanced endoscopic procedures, ERCP, management of gastrointestinal bleeding, polyp removal, treatment of complex gastrointestinal strictures and a wide range of specialised diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal interventions.
